To know Susan is to love her. She is warm, caring, honest, and hard working. She has a positivity about her that is felt by all that come in contact with
her. She cannot be on an elevator without sparking a conversation or sharing an interesting comment.
She's a hugger. She's a great boss, mother, and friend. Susanisms are what we call the quaint sayings and mis-sayings spoken by our
wise leader. After so many years of working together, we've heard some
interesting phrases from her.
"The trees are falling off their branches!" This is in reference to an
Oklahoma ice storm of epic proportions. Of course she meant the branches are
falling off of the trees.
"Now we're cooking with gas!" She uses this one when describing a moment where all the stars are aligned and we are on a roll.
"I've spent my wad." This equates to breaking the bank, or going above budget.
"She bit herself in the foot." We think this one is a combination between biting your nose off to spite your face and sticking your foot in your mouth.
Susanisms. Classic.
